Girls Run Super Bowl XLVII

Did women, take over the Super Bowl last night? ...America The Beautiful, National Anthem and Super Bowl Halftime show all being belted by African American females. There was not a dry eye in the place as Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys touched the nation.

Although Beyoncé didn't perform 'We Run The World (Girls)', it was implied in her performance and she owned it. See my article at Examiner.com for more about the halftime show and other highlights of Game Day 2013 including the mysterious blackout...

Woman's Day posted an excellent article illustrating 10 foods that look like the body parts they nourish. I was excited that many of the foods on the list are among staples in my household and that I could easily kill a few birds with one stone... or pot of soup should I say. Making smoothies, and soups or dump pots as I affectionately call them after a few days of adding additional ingredients is the best way to cram in a lot of key nutrients and cover up less desirable tastes and textures. When you create a vegetable smoothie, you will want to start with the important things first. Whatever your nutrition goal is you can dump your key power foods into a smoothie and then sweeten them up with raspberries, bla...

Do you ever get tired? Of course you do. Do you ever get frustrated? Silly question right? Well how often do you dump that on your audience? I liked a post a few days ago that said stop working for free. It was a great point. Although I'm "The Sugar Free Coach" and my brand is pithy and snappy, even I don't go off the deep end ranting about everything I don't like. Remember no matter what your audience is you have a responsibility to lead. Don't let your followers down by dragging them through your drama, opinions and up and down feelings. Don't start stuff just to gain traffic or popularity. Do you know what "board room talk" is? It means you don't just say any old thing in front of people who may not be mature enough...

You may have stumbled here or you got my invite, but either way thanks for stopping by. I have a few things to share that I want you to be aware of. I am completely finished writing and editing Living Sugar Free, whew!!! I can't wait for you to read it and if you are a member of my network you may even get a free copy when it's out. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you will want to do a little research and join the network. Here are a few groups that are active and available to you on Facebook. There is nothing to buy, or do unless you want to. You may join a group because you need support or because you would like to offer support in your area. Maybe you are trying to grow a brand and looking for like minded people; you may be...

You already have an "insurance score." You have an "Employment Credit Score."  There's even a "MedFICO," which attempts to predict whether you’ll actually pay your doctor’s bills.  Now that a "Facebook score" has been invented,  I expect a "Grocery...

If you think just keeping your Facebook page free of drunken photos will help you land a job, think again. Facebook facts that make you look worldly and popular may say more about you to a hiring manager than anything else.

Empire Avenue (EA)  is not only the most fun I've had online but also the highest return on investment. I joined the site on May 3rd, 2011 at a share price of under 20 eaves, EA's currency, and now am trading at around 76 eaves. I've been the CEO on the Psychology Index; then back to VP when I was not as active; now back up to CFO. I know all of this doesn't mean anything to you if you aren't playing the game. However what might interest you is the fact that I've also significantly increased my Facebook page likes, followers on Twitter, YouTube subscribers and etc. My Klout profile and PeerIndex rating have both improved and I have discovered great new sites such as XeeMe which helps me easily share my social profiles and K...

Do you struggle with the balance between being nice and being a doormat; between forgiveness and co-dependence; between being fair and entertaining insanity?
If you are a focused, growth oriented, philanthropic, social entrepreneur, you are rarely being mean, uncaring or unfair. It's more likely that you are caring and it is received with ill intent; or you are being wise and angering someone who wants their way.
Don't allow people to rewrite your values statement, confuse the lessons you've learned or pull you back into old ways of doing things. Read your daily educational and motivational nutrition. Surround yourself with people you know will give you unbiased opinions, honest feedback and genuine support. Spend time writing when y...

Do you know the difference between driving traffic and natural attraction? Do you know why driving traffic is not an effective long term plan? As a marketing and sales student, employee and senior manager, for years I had to look at the numbers, drive results and generate sales. As The Social Entrepreneur, I have chosen to take a different route. I have built a network, grown a brand and sustained a business by attracting my ideal client, inspiring productivity and natural attraction. My company generates 19+ pages of search engine results with 1.3% errors. Do I have everything I want? No; but be sure that I have also learned to be at piece with each level. This is the only way to be faithful to your brand and vision. If not you will be t...

SugarFreeCoach on Klout Oh no, according to Klout my score dipped 0.05 points because peeps in my network lost influence. That means someone fell off. But now with the new features I know who it is. Don't leave people hanging. It's easy to write social media off as unimportant, but there are real people on the other end of those tweets, posts and blogs. Did you start something and not finish it? You know who you are. You made it into my circle of influence because you were doing something special. Now you are either not doing it anymore, not promoting it or not communicating with your audience. If you need help feel free to respond in the comments section, tweet me or post to my FB page. If you feel that your needs are more complex and you would like...

Have you ever been guilty of being stuck on stupid? I mean someone has to be the culprit. Who are these people that everyone is always talking about? I often think I'm talking to "they" and it turns out I'm talking to "them." Are you stupid or the snob who's always calling others stupid? Or both...I submit at times everyone has been the dork at the light waiting for a different shade of green, and the jerk laying on their horn. Let's work on patience as a society. We can deal with differences as long as we are patient. Andrea Raquel Bx=SugarFree

{EAV_BLOG_VER:33a7d94179a50c45} Recognizing the importance of this day is a great thing. It is Independence Day for the US and many have fought, served, led, died, and spoke out so that we could exercise freedom in this country. Don't just thank soldiers and vets today for your independence. Do your part to ensure they didn't serve in vain. Get a life, pursue your passion, chase your dreams, realize that what's for you is for you. If you didn't get the job, it wasn't meant for you. If he is in love with someone else he's not your soul mate. If she cheated on you it's not your fault. If your money isn't right learn how to budget. If the deal fell through, it wasn't a good deal. We served so you could have opportunities to be your own hero....

Habakkuk 2:2 (AKJV)
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain on tables, that he may run that reads it.
Wisdom tells us to write down goals, visions and plans. This makes them actionable. But what happens when you are not dedicated to your own plans? You confuse your own mind and cause negative feelings within yourself. You lack integrity when you lie, even to yourself. This causes you to have conflict in other relationships and interactions. Decide today that you will not lie to yourself anymore. Then you will begin to have open honest communication with others. Jim Rohn said:
I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacation with better care than they do their lives. Perhaps that is ...
