Do you trust Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and other fallible media when you post content online? Do you waste time reposting and fixing because of regular yet inconsistent glitches? Here's the solution: Get HootSuite, Buffer or other good scheduling app and post everywhere at once. Then repeat on a schedule. I know folks complain about seeing cross platform posts. My answer to that? Who cares! I hate commercials, but it hasn't stopped anyone from making them, playing them over and over, or making the volume higher so they scream at me. I hate 'Drunken Love' but it hasn't stopped the radio stations from repeatedly bombarding me with it at the same time. Post consistently and across multiple platforms to get your message seen or it will ge...

Have you seen that commercial where the lady is lugging her depreasion around, even after medication. Then they suggest she needs a second medicine to really control it. Seriously? I think it's time to admit, the medication may not be working. image Low self-esteem is a sign of self centeredness and deception. Not in all cases, but in many situations people are caught up in their own problems, with no time or care for those around them. Then they wonder why they feel alienated. If you only go around people when you need something, never accept invitations to spend time, and only call to complain; the person you're dumping on and pulling from will eventually follow the advice they are probably giving to you. To surround themselves with people wh...

Yep, I said it, and before you say Amen, I'm probably talking to you too... Stereotypes about women, lies about history and biology, blatant porn, jokes on nationalities, racial remarks about the POTUS or anyone, oh and passive aggressive folks who get an attitude and say all manner of nastiness when anyone has the audacity to point it out... Or worse you got an attitude and said outloud you don't see why we need Black History Month. As long as you don't say the n word you're good right? Wrong!!! image Somedia is out of control, but who's leading the way????? If you really want to make a difference, click the link and keep reading... Let's discuss it.

If you believe that everyone should embrace their weirdness, don't accept limitations, stand up for what's good and true, and only focus on the positive... How come so many of you spend so much time downplaying or flat out insulting those who are different? Then trying to get me and other people to tone it down, don't ask too many questions, don't set the record straight, don't take it personal when cultural lies are perpetuated, or point out when even you have said something totally offensive or untrue? Freedom of speach was meant to protect us and the truth; not to be an aid to bullying, prejudice and discrimination. Not guilty? Well did you tell your click that they were being bullies when they did it or just watch? I've only seen one ...

I'm not saying if you're single you shouldn't find interest and attractions in your online circles. Social media mimicks social networking in real life. So it's a given that there will be more than a few love connections taking place, even outside of dating sites. What I'm suggesting is that online, perhaps even more than offline, you should consider etiquette, chivalry and good manners because you don't have the benefit of in person magnetism. Here's a list of things that annoy me with guys who attempt to court me after meeting me online. image 1. I don't know you, and haven't looked you in the eye, so don't say "trust me." 2. Don't ask me to send you pictures, you can look at me all day on any given profile. 3. Don't stalk my p...

#CleanHouse Wondering why everyone is asking you to add their business page to your newsfeed? I hope you will add mine after reading this. We've discovered that even if you like your best friend's Facebook Page page, you may never see their posts. Sometimes even a search comes up empty. That's Facebook maintaining their shareholder value. They have their agenda, but you do have options. Take control of your information and communication by managing your newsfeeds. When you joined Facebook and most other social sites you may have had a few familiar faces to follow, but more than likely you filled your newsfeed with all familiar brands. Well now with the paid Marketing features, that's all you see. Take control, support family and friends...

#MetroJethro I'm gonna beat this horse until I get tired... To each his own and all that crap. You can like whatever music you want. But what you can't do is get away with saying things like "rap and country should never mix." Why not pray tell??? Do you realize you just disregarded a whole culture of folks??? Not that you care if you go around saying things like this; but here are people who fit nicely between the two worlds and naturally merge them together. Yeah you know, the ones you rarely hear about in the media. The black duck dynasty types, the brown skinned Paula Deens, the Charlie Prides... believe it or not there's lots of country, good old boy non-white folks. Quit acting like all hillbillies are racist and all blac...

Many church folks focus on legalism because it's easier than focusing on love. God is more concerned with your hate than he is with your hem line. If we obey every single commandment except love, we have failed. Think about it. The hard thing is dealing with humans. How are you obeying God's command to love??? If life is 20% what happens and 80% how we respond to it... well retaliation, pay back, revenge, or otherwise reacting to being wronged is what really holds you back. Let it go! And by let it go I don't mean pretend it didn't bother you and ignore the culprit. On the inside you are seething. I mean let it go by seeing the good in the situation as an opportunity for you and/or your offenders to learn and grow. Deuteronomy 30:16 NI...

Oh you like that title, huh? Yes, I know I'm clever ;-) Spite, Hate and Envy are terrible joy stealers, relationship destroyers, and opportunity killers. I'm a psychology researcher, coach, mentor and advisor...  unintentional kindling the hate fire is what I do, it is my weirdness. I call it hater aiding :-D But there's a fine line. When you say something profound, do something really great or really smart or accomplish something and then you celebrate really big and care about the fact that it makes the people who are jealous more frustrated. That's pretty much the same thing as "watching them squirm" and shouldn't really be motivation; but hey I understand that we're human. I'm not saying what anyone should or should...

Dear #TXNL fans, group members and supporters, Wanna know how we keep our Facebook group spam free and you safe from hackers??????? I only ask because it is always strange to me when I see a new request to join, then go and scroll their page to see 1. are they a real person, 2. are they providing real content or engaging in real discussions, and 3. who do they know who's already connected... so many times I see spam filled pages of profiles who are obviously not engaged, and leave me wondering if they were created by a bot. How is it that so many of these obvious fakes have so many friends in common or already in the group? Well I'll tell you. In the early days of social media, a lot of us met in large groups and start up betas. Many of ...

http://youtu.be/tzy8BONtJN8 On December 12th I posted a video that included my perks from @Klout. I got a whole box of cough drops from @Ricola (in a talking box), the regular and extra strength, and a jar of Hershey's chocolate spread. I joked in the video about not needing the drops and not eating the spread. I promised to follow up to prove to everyone that I was not going to get sick this winter. Well it's now February and as promised I did not eat the entire jar of chocolate spread; but I have indulged a bit. It is almost three quarters of the way full... I don't need to prove it with pictures do I? I only ask because the comments from the recipients of the Klout perk were basically saying that they opened the package and ate the who...

I thought it would be funny. Silence, the sound of not hearing my opinion, getting shout outs or feeling the #LivingSugarFree love oozing from the other side of the world (as in before the Internet). I was 35 in 2007 when I set out to build a brand online. Before that I had only done desktop publishing, worked with company clouds and communicated with tech savvy friends via chat. Bankers were not encouraged to use the Internet for business beyond research. Even in as an Army Public Affairs Specialist my work was within the Intranet. Now a simple light hearted post has turned into a blog. Because as a researcher I had to document the experience. I make a point of not having a mobile phone surgically attached to me, so I am perhaps less lik...

Hmmm... is the FB LIKE button issue an experiment? Ain't nobody got time for that or making them the topic of my social stream, so I'll just use other media today. Poof! Technology doesn't define me either. Xee ya around the net. I will be using Trust Cloud, Connect.me, LinkedIn, Empire Avenue, G+, and even Klout to show love to my network and influencers this week for their great content and engagement. There are always multiple ways to work around technology. It is to be a tool for convenience not to dictate my schedule or engagement. Let’s discuss it… http://xeeme.com/AndréaRaquel

This is not a post for wannabe celebs, demi celebs, and talented entrepreneurs. You are already working towards your next level, hopefully. But if you have been working in film, music and/or major entertainment industry as a recognizable name and you're complaining about what someone is keeping you from, you might be a porch monkey. Stop wasting your royalties on keeping up with the status quo and invest it in your exit strategy. Everyone falls on hard times at some point, but if you have a known brand, you have value. If you have a well-known name and you have income, what are you waiting for? Quit your crying and really become an entrepreneur already. You've lived your dream, now it's time to do some work. Get out of the way and pave it ...
