Well there's not any characters I identify with who look like me (my sister says it's Huey on Boondocks, but that's a cartoon). Let's just say I'd like to make all business associates, family members and every potential suitor sit through marathons of Bones, Criminal Minds and Big Bang Theory... With the following instructions:
Please write a one page summary of each of my three favorite characters. Explain what you do and don't like about each one and if you think you could work well with them. What is special about them and what is annoying? Why? How would you handle each scenario you find annoying? What would you add to or do to help enrich their lives, make them feel comfortable and help them succeed?

This would be a fun exercise... But...

If you've got a family, be grateful and do right by them. No matter how your family unit is designed let it be a loving example to the world starting with you.

Don't chase $$ claiming it's all for them. Then ignore the why, by working yourself to death or neglecting family. You've got a team and you can't nurture it by throwing money at it.

Set an example of integrity and discipline your kids. Inspire your family to influence your community. Don't make excuses for them or encourage a "me and mine attitude." Don't blame others for their wrong and by all means teach them to take responsibility for their own choices and mistakes.

This is not a post for wannabe celebs, demi celebs, and talented entrepreneurs. You are already working towards your next level, hopefully. But if you have been working in film, music and/or major entertainment industry as a recognizable name and you're complaining about what someone is keeping you from, you might be a porch monkey. Stop wasting your royalties on keeping up with the status quo and invest it in your exit strategy. Everyone falls on hard times at some point, but if you have a known brand, you have value. If you have a well-known name and you have income, what are you waiting for? Quit your crying and really become an entrepreneur already. You've lived your dream, now it's time to do some work. Get out of the way and pave it ...

#TurnUpTuesday #BulliesandHaters get no energy. This post can help lots of folks reading it right now in various situations, once you figure out which shoe fits. No one knows if I'm talking to you but you! If you get mad, I'm definitely talking to you. image If you are a client or friend and get emotional, start calling names and twisting my words, I stop talking. No human or the spirits tormenting them, will ever steal my joy! To a logical person (logic is an actual discipline, don't throw the word around loosely), your point does not become more valid because you add, we talked about you and Johnny agrees." LOL!!! If anything your opinion is now less valid. There are laws of debate and logic (Google it, I'm not teaching that lesson ...

Embrace your weirdness and do something scary.

3. Love your haters...

From a distance if necessary, and with rebuke when prompted.

I know this is a phrase you're used to seeing a lot in self help marketing ads: "become the person you were meant to be..." image News flash: This statement implies destiny. If you believe in destiny than you know that God knows you, where you are and where you are going. If you don't believe in destiny than you shouldn't be looking for anything that was meant to be and should be okay with just being. I am here to tell you, you are already the person you were meant to be, as will you be 10 years from now when you evolve and grow more. You don't need to become anyone... you just need to tell the person you are to get up and do something with what you have right now! Only then will you feel like you are the person you were meant...

Catch Holler's Disease Do you know Brian Holler?

If not, you should. Catch Holler's Disease I can't get enough of this guy. Therefore I have decided that I have Holler's Disease and you should get it too.

Holler's Disease is simply described, in his words, "Being yourself is awesome, but a whole bunch of people being themselves then seeing how that can work together? Well, that's about as good as it gets!"

This is a euphoric state of being "blissfully ignorant of anyone pretending to be someone else. Too happy, productive and prosperous to care."

It's becoming an epidemic. There is no cure for this disease, and why would you want one.

To continue this path of positivity and success click LIKE, share and RT Brian Holler at least once a day. Y...

Happy Friday darlings!!! Did you finish the week strong? Get everything you wanted? Accomplish all your goals? No, what???!!!! :-D That's ok, me either. Remember success is a journey... And guess what, you're closer to goals than you  were last week because you gave it your all... You did give it your all right? No???? :-D That's ok too. Eliminate "try" from your vocabulary and your mind. Then  you will give your all and appreciate your own efforts more. Also plan your Monday today and leave your unfinished tasks on paper, not in your psyche. Then, go have a relaxing and fun weekend. You deserve it! Don't forget to take some time for reflection and gratitude.

I was going to comment on this article, but then I realized I had too much to say... I studied Marketing in undergraduate school and am now studying Psychology. The article is very informative and accurate; however it is limiting. Marketing is only one aspect of business and Social Media is only one aspect of Marketing. A good business strategy must include these elements and many others, working together to achieve the mission and vision of the business. The bottom line is not achieved only by one division but by them all collaborating and sharing information and resources. I have seen and heard a lot of really negative conversation about the worthlessness of online reporting sites, and social media as a whole for small businesses. Trans...

{EAV_BLOG_VER:33a7d94179a50c45} Recognizing the importance of this day is a great thing. It is Independence Day for the US and many have fought, served, led, died, and spoke out so that we could exercise freedom in this country. Don't just thank soldiers and vets today for your independence. Do your part to ensure they didn't serve in vain. Get a life, pursue your passion, chase your dreams, realize that what's for you is for you. If you didn't get the job, it wasn't meant for you. If he is in love with someone else he's not your soul mate. If she cheated on you it's not your fault. If your money isn't right learn how to budget. If the deal fell through, it wasn't a good deal. We served so you could have opportunities to be your own hero....

If you’ve been following The Social Entrepreneur or TXNL since the beginning then you may remember my warning in 2008 to watch out for Microsoft and where they were going with social media.

We have had to learn some web 2.0, html, css, widgetology, feedology, linkology, SEO, and API in order to make social ends meet over the past few years but those days are coming to a close thanks to companies like Microsoft and Google who recognize the demand of social media and micro blogging. Now instead of jumping from site to site and adding extra code to tweet a blog. You can pretty much link all your sites together and post one time.

Facebook, MySpace, even Google run sites now fully synced with Live. Do you have multiple identities? Not persona...
